Due to an internal move, WPP seeks a Senior Financial Accountant to join our dynamic HQ Finance team. This is your chance to shape the financial landscape of a global industry leader.

Why This Role Matters:

We need a talented individual to ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and compliance of our global HQ financial reporting. You'll be a key player in a high-performing team, driving efficiency and process improvement in a fast-paced environment.

 

What You'll Do:

  • Manage monthly management reporting for various HQ entities in D365 and BFC.
  • Support SOX controls and statutory reporting for UK and global HQ entities.
  • Liaise with auditors, both internal and external.
  • Manage the HQ intercompany loan matrix and assist with debt reconciliation.
  • Collaborate on standardizing Global HQ risk and control environment.
  • Perform SOX controls and create process documentation for complex accounting areas.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to implement restructuring and financing initiatives.

 

Who You Are:

  •  ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
  • Experience in a similar role within a large, multinational organization.
  • Great IFRS and UK GAAP knowledge, SOX compliance experience.
  • Proficient in ERP systems (D365 preferred) and advanced Excel.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to work effectively across teams and levels.
  • A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
