Due to an internal move, WPP seeks a Senior Financial Accountant to join our dynamic HQ Finance team. This is your chance to shape the financial landscape of a global industry leader.
Why This Role Matters:
We need a talented individual to ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and compliance of our global HQ financial reporting. You'll be a key player in a high-performing team, driving efficiency and process improvement in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do:
- Manage monthly management reporting for various HQ entities in D365 and BFC.
- Support SOX controls and statutory reporting for UK and global HQ entities.
- Liaise with auditors, both internal and external.
- Manage the HQ intercompany loan matrix and assist with debt reconciliation.
- Collaborate on standardizing Global HQ risk and control environment.
- Perform SOX controls and create process documentation for complex accounting areas.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to implement restructuring and financing initiatives.
Who You Are:
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
- Experience in a similar role within a large, multinational organization.
- Great IFRS and UK GAAP knowledge, SOX compliance experience.
- Proficient in ERP systems (D365 preferred) and advanced Excel.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to work effectively across teams and levels.
- A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
