WHAT WE’RE SEEKING:

WPP is looking for a talented and experienced Global Lead for our Flex Talent Program as a senior member of our Global TA Team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and leading flex staff management strategies & operations for WPP globally to fuel and accelerate business growth and increase efficiency across all markets.

YOUR IMPACT:

This role and program are transformative to our global industry.  This is a bespoke talent initiative designed to enhance WPP’s competitive advantage by creating a central flex marketplace thereby augmenting our agency’s ability to immediately onramp new client business. 

The result of this initiative will: enhance the right casting for our client pitches & onboarding, increase efficiency across the flex talent ecosystem, empower our stakeholders to improve strategic decision making, improve the experience for our flex talent and recruitment teams, and increase the network’s knowledge of our global talent marketplaces to inform future talent strategies.  

Ultimately, we envision an opportunity for our existing employees to participate in our flex talent marketplace to learn new skills or experience new opportunities in a short-term capacity.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Flex Talent Supply/Management

  • Create flex talent recruitment strategies and sustainable frameworks
  • Partner with legal/compliance to enforce contractual compliance standards
  • Align and enhance existing internal frameworks regarding sourcing practices, candidate experience, vetting and assessing talent
  • Lead Supplier Engagement for selecting, deploying, and managing augmented staffing vendor partners
  • Foster consultative and strategic relationships with vendor partners to integrate augmented staff management into WPP global operations

Demand Management/ Requests

  • Support all agencies and divisions in WPP portfolio across all markets in partnership with our TA and Resource Management (People Planning) teams 
  • Understand various stakeholder nuances, global market complexities, and budget considerations.
  • Align with and enhance frameworks regarding procurement and VMO (Contract standards, supplier management, rate cards, etc.)
  • Act as an innovation catalyst - seek out new and innovative methods, processes, and techniques to successfully integrate augmented staff management as a key pillar of WPP growth strategy

Strategic Reporting/Stakeholder Management

  • Measure the success – effectiveness & efficiency – of flex staffing programs across markets through performance/hiring metrics
  • Dive into performance and hiring data to uncover trends to help identify issues and make data-driven recommendations
  • Tell the story through data – establish reporting cadences to our agency’s global exco, talent and operations leadership on strategic actions they can take through the lens of data, increasing experience and efficiency for our talent and clients.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in a related role in strategic operations around flex staffing or recruiting/partnerships / TA or Recruitment operations
  • Experience leading international global teams and building high performing organizations.
  • Ability to manage through influence with exceptional organizational, communication and collaboration skills.
  • High comfort level with data visualization platforms (PowerBI and/or Tableau or similar platforms) and using data to tell a story.
  • Preferred working experience in a large, complex, international business across multiple cities, ideally including work outside the US.
  • Experience in an industry where customer experiences are instant and impactful.
  • Proficient in developing stakeholder communications to all audience types ranging from medium level to executive level.
