Why we're hiring:

To support the WPP Power Platform, SMEs will focus on application development and modernization by transforming raw data into meaningful insights. SMEs are required to provide technical guidance and operational support on all Power Platform troubleshooting issues across WPP and its opcos.

What you'll be doing:

• Individual will be working as part of a team, helping to ensure the high quality deliverables of the Power Platform Team
• Act as a SME and point of responsibility for all Power BI and Power Platform deliverables.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and prioritize requirements for Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Requirements gathering, Analysis, design and development of Power BI reports and dashboards that provide insights into business data.
• Develop data models and ETL processes to transform data from various sources into a format that can be easily analysed in Power BI.
• Establish security setup for Power BI reports and dashboards
• Deliver leading edge Power Platform advice and delivery whilst gathering requirements to all our clients when assisting in the design and development of Power Platform apps
• Assist in maintaining best practice guidance on all Power Platform functions
• Provide support and carry out troubleshooting, diagnosis and resolving problems received from the organisation.
• Ensure organisation WPP IT policy (compliance/security) is adhered to with any request received

What you'll need:

Required Technical Skill Set:

• The ideal candidate will have experience in Data Science, Data analytics, Business intelligence, Data visualizations and building dashboards using Power BI & CoPilot
• Experience with Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, Dataverse)
• Proven experience as a Power BI and Power Platform developer or relevant position
• Experience in publishing and sharing the dashboards, scheduling data refreshes.
• Should have handled complexity around visualization or data.
• Knowledge on connecting to multiple data sources through Power BI is required.
• Strong expertise in Crafting intuitive and interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI for data driven decisions.
• Familiarity with SQL and experience working with relational databases.
• Basics of Architecture and Design fundamentals
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Knowledge of best practices for maintaining information security, including RLS
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive company information.
• Ability to translate technical jargon into layman’s terms for explanatory purposes.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)
• Excellent time management, problem solving and organisational skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team or individually on projects.

Must Have:

• Data Science, Analytics, Business intelligence, Data integration, warehousing, modelling.
• Design and development of Power BI solutions

Good To have:

• Knowledge in scripting i.e. Python, PowerShell
• Exposure to CoPilot, MS Fabric, Power Pivot, SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS, Azure Synapse
• Relevant Microsoft Certification beneficial
• Good ‘all-round’ understanding of the Microsoft M365 Environment (Azure, Azure AD, Office Packages, Exchange, OneDrive, SharePoint, Security and Teams)
• Experience of Power Shell Scripting
