In this role you will be a member of the Maconomy Services Team supporting the Maconomy Risk and Controls Lead.  Your role will grow as we further deploy and expand our Maconomy coverage both geographically and capability.

Reporting to the Maconomy Services Risk and Controls Lead, this role is responsible for ensuring that WPP’s Maconomy security is recorded and documented as per our operating procedures and controls, this is a great role to grow your Maconomy experience with hands on experience and training available to the successful candidate.

This is an exciting role working with the wider Maconomy Services team to provide a world class level of Maconomy support, development, compliance, governance and security on a day-to-day basis and in support of Maconomy project deployments.

The Maconomy Services team provides the post go-live support, maintenance and enhancement of the Maconomy solution that replaces some of our core technology and influences our ways of working for many of our colleagues at WPP.

This ERP programme will see Maconomy deployed across our global landscape to address the technology needs of Finance, Projects. The key to this programme is that technology is an enabler for change, it’s at the heart of what we do, but it’s not all of what we do. The people, process and compliance aspects of this programme are vital to its success. This role will help deliver that success on an ongoing basis for many years to come.

What you'll be doing:

  • Track, triage, monitor and coordinate the response to audit requests from internal risk and controls, IT compliance, internal and external audit teams in a timely manner.
  • Lead/Support the development of risk and control related artefacts to support the delivery and ongoing support of a quality, well governed and GCC compliant Maconomy platforms (and its adjacent technologies)
  • Support the monitoring of the controls operated or supported by the Maconomy Services team and work with relevant teams to keep Maconomy platforms compliant.
  • Support the Maconomy Services Security team with the Privileged Access Monitoring process and continually improve the process through automation.
  • Working closely with the Maconomy Services Change team to ensure the evidence of changes implemented into the production environment are appropriately documented and captured.
  • Support the execution of the periodic User Access Reviews process, the introduction of new features and other continuous improvements to the UAR process.
  • Support the implementation of tools and process improvements in User Access Reviews, User Provisioning and Segregation of Duties Analysis space.
  • Champion recommendations for continuous improvement within the team

What you'll need:

  • 3+ years’ experience working in complex global organisations.
  • Experience working in a Tier 1 ERP (Maconomy, SAP, Oracle and Dynamics 365) global deployments and/or BAU environment – Maconomy xxx preferred,
  • Experience of maintaining and monitoring Security and Access Management in a global ERP solution (platform security; Joiners, Movers, Leavers (JML); user access and segregation of duties review processes)
  • Experience in engaging with internal controls and compliance functions or with internal or external audits teams.
  • Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, internal controls, audit principles (CISA qualified preferred)
  • Strong Excel and data manipulation skills.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to develop trusted relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills and time and task management.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Creative solutioning and strong problem-solving skills with agility for fast and simple solutions
  • Credibility, professionalism, and strong personal integrity.
