Why we're hiring:

We are delivering a large finance application across 100+ finance teams globally and we need a project manager to get stuck in and support our core team in managing the successful delivery and ongoing maintenance of this finance application. As part of our Project team, you’ll be working closely with the HQ Finance Team, Enterprise Data Group, IT team and the vendor delivering this application as well as other broader functions across our group and operating companies to help support our reporting and data analytics. 

What you'll be doing:

  • Facilitate delivery, roll-out and activation of the finance application across HQ & Networks. 
  • Drive project success metrics and timelines. 
  • Identify opportunities to set up and improve programme-related processes to drive efficiency. 
  • Facilitate the discussion of new features and functionalities of the application and rollout of future releases of the application.  
  • Plan, administer, Manage and monitor the UAT testing activities to ensure successful completion of UAT.  
  • Lead delivery of programme governance documents and preparation for internal Board meetings and audit checks. 
  • Identify and proactively handle risks, issues, dependencies, forecast resource demand and prioritisation. 
  • Facilitate delivery of change requests and application enhancements. 
  • Directly manage the day to day of our supplier team. 

What you'll need:

Minimum requirements for this role include: 

  • 5+ years’ experience in managing delivery of a large-scale global transformation programmes and/or new finance application impacting 100+ users. 
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to cross-functionally sell your ideas, collaborate and engage with the C-suite. 
  • Experience with data-driven decision making, agile delivery and creative problem solving. 
  • The competence, confidence, and self-discipline to manage deadlines, estimates, and budgets excellently. 
  • Strong cross-functional Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management.  
  • Hands-on, active, results-oriented approach  
  • Driven and conscientious, act as agent for change 
  • Both detail and ‘big picture’ conscious. 
  • Diligent and attentive to detail, able to listen, learn, and put into practice. 
  • Microsoft Tools (Proficiency in Excel), MoSCoW and Change Management concepts. 
  • Full Product Lifecycle Management. 
  • IT, Technology & Business Alignment.  
  • Risk Management, Risk Mitigation, Compliance  
  • Business Cases & Benefits Realisation 
  • Curiosity to learn! 

Additional preferred skills: 

  • Experience working with data teams (engineers, analysts, etc.). 
  • Auditor background, Big 4 experience preferred. 
  • Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences
