As part of this transformation journey the global payroll team are initiating a payroll standardisation and consolidation program starting with India to harmonize payroll processes, ways of working and streamlined vendor solutions ahead of integration to Workday.

What you'll be doing:

The Payroll Test Analyst will be responsible for supporting the APAC (India) Payroll Test Lead with the implementation and management of the region's full end-to-end testing, planning, SIT, UAT, test script creation for new payroll systems, payroll data migration testing, and integration testing.

  • Support Payroll System configuration and payroll migration testing
  • Support the development test cases and test scripts for new regional payroll systems
  • Support payroll data migration testing and integration testing
  • Participate in defect triage meetings and assist in the resolution of defects
  • Contribute to regular status updates to project stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development of testing best practices and methodologies
  • Work with the WPP/WD Test Teams to continuously improve the testing process

 

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing, preferably in a payroll domain
  • Strong understanding of payroll systems such as ADP, Alight, Ceridian, or others.
  • Stong knowledge of payroll processes and regulations
  • Experience with Payroll System configuration and payroll migration testing
  • Experience with end-to-end testing, including SIT and UAT
  • Knowledge of testing tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, or similar
  • Knowledge of Workday HCM is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
