What you will be doing

  • Manage core end-to-end People process design activities for Joiner / Mover/ Leaver for the WPP global People organization and its operating companies
  • Partner with 3rd parties for operating model & related business processes to provide POV and insights into best practices and work performed is consistent with WPP’s Ways of Working model
  • Partner with agency People Process Owners & Process Stewards to develop business processes and requirements which streamline current business processes, leveraging Workday HCM with a view to simplifying and standardizing across operating companies
  • Work with the WPP and agency People key stakeholders across agencies to incrementally design and roll-out the People Ways of Working for People Operations, enabled by Workday and other technology platforms
  • Partner closely with People HCM Technology team and Comms, Change & Training team to ensure alignment on the build/ development cycle and timeline
  • Act as the global champion, providing coaching to Process Stewards on process design and change management tools to embed a continuous improvement mindset to teams who own the processes in our Global People teams
  • Key contributor of process design and maintaining global standards for documentation (eg. SOP templates, user journey maps, training materials)
  • Partner with Deployment Lead to ensure agencies are operationally ready for milestone activities and escalate to the Program team any upstream/ downstream dependencies that may impact end to end business processes

CHANGE MANAGEMENT

  • Manage change impact assessments for agencies partnering with Process Stewards & Deployment Leads, identifying critical points of intervention & key messages which can be leveraged by the Comms, Change & Training team
  • Partner with CCT team on strategy & plans to ensure adoption of new processes, roles & technology
  • Continue to partner with Process Owners and People Operations leaders to diagnose change impacts and develop appropriate methods for intervention to drive adoption.

What you'll need:

  • Min 10 yrs. experience with preference for HR, IT or other corporate function
  • Process engineering experience is a must – includes design, mapping & SOP development
  • Workday HCM or other HCM Cloud experience strongly preferred
  • Technical deployment experience and understanding of technology required
  • Experience working in a complex agency environment is preferred.
  • A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process
  • Experience with large-scale, complex organizational change efforts
  • Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools
  • Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Excellent active listening skills
  • Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
  • Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
  • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
