Review team deliverables on a weekly, fortnightly & monthly basis to upskill levels of efficiency.

What you'll be doing:

  • To make sure that a company is conducting its business in full compliance with all national and international laws and regulations that pertain to our industry, as well as professional standards, accepted business practices.
  • Draft, modify and implement company policies wherever necessary
  • Develop and oversee control systems to prevent or deal with violations of legal guidelines and internal policies
  • Evaluate the efficiency of controls and improve them continuously
  • Revise procedures, reports etc. periodically to identify hidden risks or non-conformity issues
  • Conducting Compliance training, educating employees on the laws, regulations and company policies that apply to their day-to-day job responsibilities. This training can assist in creating a safe, hospitable and respectful workplace as well as detecting and/or avoiding compliance violations.
  • Collaborate with departments to monitor enforcement of standards and regulations.
  • Review the work of colleagues when necessary to identify compliance issues and provide advice or training
  • Keep abreast of regulatory developments within or outside of the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance control
  • Assess the business’s future ventures to identify possible compliance risks
  • Prepare reports for senior management and external regulatory bodies as appropriate
  • Overall General Accounting Knowledge is must
  • Should be well-versed with Internal Audits, SOX Framework and Corporate Risk Management

What you'll need:

  • CA with minimum 15-20 years of post-qualification experience in Internal Audit
  • Strong knowledge of SOX compliance and governance framework
  • Strong communication skills for negotiation & reconciliation
  • Self-motivated
  • Commercially focused with a strong Client service approach
  • Strong experience in People Management
  • Adept in managing & leading teams for running successful process operations and experience of developing procedures & service standards for business excellence.
  • An effective communicator with excellent relationship building & interpersonal skills with proficiency in explaining complex financial data.
  • Calm under pressure.
