Why we're hiring:

The role of the Vulnerability Remediation Team Lead is to manage and support the Vulnerability Remediation team resolve outstanding vulnerabilities as directed by the Senior Security Testing Engineer and the broader Cyber Security management team.

What you'll be doing:

    • Lead the Remediation of vulnerabilities using a variety of tools across a diverse infrastructure.
    • Manage the prioritisation of those vulnerabilities through a risk-based approach.
    • Lead the Triage and prioritization of vulnerabilities, implement mitigating measures, and support in the life cycle of vulnerability management, providing standardised advice on ways to improve control mechanisms and mitigate risk.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to manage vulnerabilities and undertake remediation activities.
    • Communicate common mitigation strategies such as patching and basic configuration change (system hardening).
    • Understand how local protective security measures can be applied to reduce vulnerability exposure.

What you'll need:

Hands on experience of :

  • Patching using enterprise tooling and manually
  • Vulnerability management, tools, techniques and methodologies;
  • Change Management
  • Legal and regulatory considerations
