Job Description

The Marketing Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of marketing and brand strategies, bringing our brand to life through innovative and engaging content, and ensuring we deliver across every touchpoint. The ideal candidate will be a strategic and highly organized individual with at least 5 years of experience in marketing and in a rapidly growing business environment. This role will be ever changing and will require the candidate to be flexible, open-minded and output driven with a strong sense of ownership.

 

Role Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Director of Marketing, to develop a deep understanding of the company’s strategic business goals and execute on marketing and communications initiatives that align with those goals
  • Help develop key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to the listed goals, and communicate those details and the progress tracked against your objectives to executive leadership
  • Maintain and grow overall corporate brand awareness, public sentiment (local, national, and industry) across marketing and advertising initiatives, including but not limited to broadcast production, print, OOH, signage, digital, social
  • Participate in the planning, execution and optimization of campaigns and creative requests managing budgets and scope of work, ensuring smooth workflow of projects from start to finish
  • Lead internal and external meetings; provide background, objectives and help establish overall strategic direction to ensure projects are well-thought from end to end
  • Review creative and provide high-level feedback and direction aligning with visual, voice and brand guidelines
  • Audit and ensure consistency of messaging across all communication channels and properties
  • Work closely with upper management on high-impact executive level projects
  • Identify best practices to streamline and optimize internal process
  • Oversee monthly reporting to be submitted to management and executive teams
  • Drive the implementation and optimization of paid advertising and social strategy
  • Assist with event ideation, planning and execution for large scale holidays and events
  • Provide strong leadership for Marketing Coordinator and offer necessary insight and guidance to foster professional growth

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field or work experience equivalent
  • 5+ years related work experience in Advertising, Marketing and/or Branding, travel and hospitality experience preferred
  • At least 1 year of management experience
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Strong balance of creative and analytical thinking
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of management and executives team members
  • Strong project management skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements
  • Manage a high volume and complex scope of work, overseeing all aspects through to completion
  • Solid planning skills, with experience proactively managing multiple projects from inception through to execution and reporting
  • A highly-detail oriented and self-guided individual who seeks clarification when needed and adheres to deadlines
