Senior Developer, Front End

Job Description 

So, what will your new role look like?    

As a senior front-end developer in the Core team in Officevibe, you’ll help implementing the technical strategy to reach our goal, maintain and work on the domain owned by the team and enable feature team by different way.  

Your responsibilities will include:     

• Analyzing requirements & evaluating technical solutions.
• Designing & writing code.
• Applying security guidelines.
• Integrating and deploying to production.
• Maintaining APP.
  
  

A typical week? 

• Writing quality code: 60%.  
• Code review and technical feedback: 20%.  
• Team meetings and rituals: 20%. 

What does your future team look like?   

The Officevibe Core team’s job is to improve our developer’s productivity by optimizing their development cycles. We do this in several ways: by working on the implementation of the technical strategy, owning sub-domain to support stream-aligned teams and developing tools to help the teams.  

What are the next challenges awaiting your team?   

• Migrating our frontend applications to TypeScript.
• Developing our automated testing practices for frontend development.
• Improving tracking and observability of frontend performance.

Qualifications 

• You’re an expert in front-end software development using TypeScript and React skills;
• You are comfortable with Netlify, JavaScript infrastructure, webpack, npm and CI/CD;
• You like working with Storybook and Chromatic;
• You are comfortable writing technical documentation;
• You can easily break down complex technical concepts;
• You enjoy technical exploration and questioning the status quo;
• You often share what you’ve learned with others via workshops, lunch & learns, etc.
