Job Description 

So, what will your new role look like? 

  • Lead the salary reviews processes from the strategic planning phase to the execution, ensuring seamless communication with every stakeholder involved. 
  • Benchmark jobs with the latest market insights and survey data. 
  • Evaluate the organization’s jobs, documents responsibilities and requirements in job descriptions.  
  • Prepare and keep up to date with our role mapping and maintain internal equity.  
  • Engage in insightful Total Rewards-related analysis, providing the groundwork for decisions that enhance our competitive edge. 
  • Contribute to the optimization of various total rewards strategies taking into account the organization's financial resources and budgetary constraints.
  • Acts as the primary advisor on compensation/benefits questions/issues for new hires and changes for existing employees resulting from job reclassification, promotion, annual cycle, bonus, commissions, etc.  
  • Participates in crafting communication pieces to improve employee’s understanding of the total rewards package and its value.  
  • Ensures proper project management of various initiatives undertaken by the compensation team.  

What does your future team look like?   

You’ll be part of a small team of compensation experts. Given the critical impact compensation can have on Workleap in today’s very competitive tech job market, the team works closely with several other experts within the Culture & Organization function to build a complete employee experience including of course a competitive compensation package that will ensure a prominent place for Workleap in its industry.   

What are the next challenges awaiting your team?  

  • Play an active role in M&As, both in the due diligence process and in the integration phase.
  • Deploy a new performance management and compensation system.
  • Continuous improvement and standardization of our job architecture and job benchmarking processes. 
  • Develop innovative recommendations to enhance Workleap's total rewards (including short-term incentives & perks).

Qualifications 

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in compensation;
  • Proficient with compensation research and data analysis;
  • Analytical thinking;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English;
  • Strong skills with Excel and statistical concepts;
  • Strong balancing act capacity;
  • Project and stakeholder management;
  • Detail oriented.
