About the role

Reporting into the CRO, The RVP for the North America and Canada Sales Team is a pivotal role focused on leading and coaching a team of Enterprise Account Executives. This role entails refining the sales process into a repeatable, predictable system to elevate pipeline growth and accelerate sales. A critical component of this position is fostering high morale and engagement within the sales team, creating an environment conducive to success and professional growth. Additionally, the RVP of Sales is accountable for precise forecast planning, demonstrating acute analytical abilities and a strong understanding of market dynamics. Effective leadership, strategic sales acumen, and a talent for nurturing team spirit and performance are essential skills for the role at hand.

About your team

🧠 What You’ll Do:

Within 3 months, you will:

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the existing sales processes and team dynamics.
  • Establish rapport with each team member and begin fostering a positive, motivational work environment.
  • Set clear, measurable goals for the sales team, aligned with company objectives.
  • Initiate improvements in the sales process for increased efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Begin implementing strategies for pipeline growth and sales velocity acceleration.
  • Conduct an initial forecast review and establish a baseline for future performance tracking.
  • Create a personalized action plan for continued professional development and team leadership.

Within 6 months, you will:

  • Achieve or exceed targeted sales goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Demonstrate a significant increase in pipeline growth and sales velocity.
  • Successfully implement a refined, repeatable sales process across the team.
  • Showcase a marked improvement in forecast accuracy and reliability.
  • Cultivate a high-performing, engaged, and motivated sales team culture.
  • Establish strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Deliver tangible results in team development and individual performance improvements.
  • Initiate and lead successful strategic sales initiatives and campaigns.
  • Provide insightful, data-driven reports on team performance and market trends.

Within 9 months, you will:

  • Consistently meet or exceed quarterly sales targets and key performance indicators.
  • Demonstrate sustained pipeline growth and increased deal closure rates.
  • Establish a track record of accurate and reliable sales forecasting.
  • Further enhance the sales process for optimal efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Lead the sales team to high morale, engagement, and retention rates.
  • Develop and implement advanced strategies for market penetration and customer acquisition.
  • Foster strong, long-term relationships with major clients and partners.
  • Identify and act on opportunities for team expansion and talent acquisition.
  • Provide comprehensive mentorship and development programs for team members.
  • Contribute significantly to the strategic direction and growth of the sales division.
