As a Motion Designer, you will work with a team of animators to create a large variety of content and interactive experiences. You will have the opportunity to work as part of a team on large-scale projects and on smaller projects that you’ll personally see through—from concept to completion. You are an expert at motion graphics, but are looking to expand upon the medium in other ways. You are always pushing to make the best work whether it be the feel of a drop down menu, bringing a character to life, or finessing the perfect transition. You love the art of storytelling, but also just love to animate. You are not scared to try out new technologies and visual approaches.

What You Can Expect to Do

  • Work iteratively on initial concepts and prototypes with product teams
  • Complete projects from concept to completion as a team of one and as part of a larger team collaboration, all while wearing multiple hats
  • Work with input and direction from Partners and Design Directors, while also adding your own creative ideas
  • Provide thoughtful creativity to everything you work on
  • UI animation, Styleframes, Storyboarding, Motion graphics, 3D 

What We’re After

  • Proven ability to propose creative concepts during initial project phases and the ability to deliver on those ideas
  • Collaborative spirit
  • Fluency in Photoshop, Sketch, Illustrator, and Adobe Premiere
  • An expert at After Effects
  • Demonstrated UX click-through experience
  • Understanding of motion in digital products
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize and present your work
  • Experience working in a highly iterative, collaborative environment where people share work daily
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge of DSLR/cinema cameras and lighting a plus
  • Comfortable working with Cinema 4D a plus
