We are looking for an exceptional Senior Manager/ Director - Integration and Application Connector Development to join our growing team. In this role, you will be involved in leading the connector development team and helping customers to build custom connectors on the Workato platform. You will also be responsible to:

  • Manage the development team for connectors and solution packs

  • Work directly with customers and partners

  • Recruit, mentor, motivate and enable the team

  • Setup and manage effective processes, procedures and policies

  • Lead the team in setting and achieving quarterly objectives to improve internal processes, develop subject matter expertise and promote knowledge sharing and reusable asset contribution in the team.

  • Support enablement and training of Workato personnel, Customers and Partners

  • Work with customers and partners to understand the solution domain around the application and system.

  • Responsible for development, maintenance and support for SDK connectors and associated community recipes, solution accelerators and collateral

  • ​​Work closely with Product and Engineering to review customer requirements and feedback, identify opportunities for SDK framework enhancements and accelerate development for roadmap features to address specific customer requirements

  • Be the Workato Connector SDK SME for both internal as well as external  audiences

  • With strong customer, project and program management and communication skills, be effective in working and enabling large global enterprises in their Automation journey. Help Workato employees, customers and partners approach and resolve complex technical problems and issues.

  • Develop collateral: presentations, demos, reference recipes, white papers, best practices, training materials


Qualifications / Experience / Technical Skills

  • BS/MS or equivalent education - Computer Science degree is must

  • 10+ years of experience with 3+ years in a lead/management role

  • Experience in Software Development Life Cycle and Agile Development methodologies

  • Experience with software architecture and design

  • Strong program and project management skills

  • Experience and knowledge of REST and SOAP Web Services APIs, Databases and systems

  • Knowledge of Java, Ruby, Python

  • Experience in integration and automation domain a plus

  • Experienced with end to end solutions development from Requirements to Delivery and Support.
