Position Summary

Workato is looking for a Partner Enablement Manager to scale our partner-influenced revenue to the next level of productivity. You’ll build and run onboarding and ongoing enablement programs for our global partners and internal partner team (aka the Business Development team). You’ll take the best of the enablement we do for our own employees, configure it for Partners, fill any gaps, and then add that partner-centric shine.

You’ll create programs for our new partners in their first months with Workato, to get them confident from both a go-to-market and technical standpoint. Velocity, self-service, mass customization, and the ability to scale these programs globally are what we’re after here. You’ll be in constant contact with our partners to identify their needs and craft a high quality offering, iterating each month until it’s world class.

You’ll have experience working to solve the challenges unique to these kinds of programs through the right systems, content, people, and processes. You’ll be constantly seeking to get better, growing these programs into a world class experience with excellent outcomes for new partners and the business. You are highly competitive, instilling a sense of fun and excitement into the learning process, and ensuring Workato’s and our partners’ success for the long term.

As a member of the Enablement team, you’ll share responsibility for these methods for enabling our global team and scaling our revenue:

  • Onboarding for our internal teams with our value props & messaging, and how to work with partners

  • Enabling our Business Development and Pre-sales teams to coach our partners and work successfully with them

  • Contributing to our Sales Playbooks 

  • Contributing to our weekly Sales All Hands meetings 

  • Member of Revenue Kickoff staff (twice annually; planning and running)

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Partner Enablement Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Enablement and practice with positioning  and selling the Workato platform and solutions.

  • Processes for working with the Workato team in co-sell opportunities.

  • Building online programs, so partners can self serve and get just in time learning and content.

  • Constantly improving the partner onboarding experience, as measured by feedback and outcomes for new partners.

  • Ensuring partners have the latest and most effective content, resources, and tools.

  • Enablement in support of Partner Kickoff, Partner Summits, and ongoing Partner enablement calls.

Requirements

Qualifications / Experience/ Skills

  • 2-3 years of professional experience in an enablement role serving partners.

  • Technical aptitude appropriate for training implementation partners.

  • Understanding of how to build partner programs and measure the effectiveness.

  • Ability to run fun and effective enablement that optimizes time spent by partners

  • Experience in a high growth startup environment preferred

  • Ability to make our products, personas, industries, and technical solutions come alive for our partners

  • Growth mindset, ability to iterate, and design-thinking approach to problem-solving

  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills

  • Program design and management, especially in the remote work environment, is a big plus

  • Understanding of Sales methodologies and frameworks (MEDDPIC, Winning by Design, Sandler, BANT, Force Management, Challenger, etc.)
