Workato is looking for a Technical Field Operations Engineer to be part of a team that will provide the foundational tools, processes and programs to scale our Customer Success organization. This role will enable our various Customer Success roles such as our Pre-Sales Solutions Consultants, Post Sales Automation Consultants, Customer Success Managers, Enterprise Architects and Product Support Analysts to accelerate the time to deliver their goals and supercharge Workato’s growth.

Responsibilities

  • Optimization of technical field activities such as answering RFPs/RFIs, security questionnaires, running reusable product demonstrations and executing PoCs

  • Building and maintaining an environment for running high-quality Workato product demonstrations

  • Building and maintaining SaaS/PaaS/IaaS enterprise applications used for demos and PoCs like Salesforce, SAP, Workday, NetSuite, ServiceNow, SnowFlake, AWS

  • Building and maintaining a content management solution to share and reuse technical and architecture assets, content and knowledge across the team effectively and efficiently

  • Automation of presales and post sales processes such as SC assignments, generating templates, handoffs documents and statements of work

  • Building and maintaining tools that will help with presales and post sales processes such as sizing calculators, time tracking, pipeline and activity management

  • Building and maintaining metrics for calculating variable commissions and MBO accomplishments

  • Building and maintaining tools and processes for effectively onboarding new hires through automation

  • Readiness for new product releases in partnership with product management and marketing

  • Process for feedback collection and collation from field teams to send to product management to drive product improvements.

  • Building and maintaining analytic dashboards to help CS leadership run their business effectively and efficiently

  • Helping Workato hire and grow in Buenos Aires.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of presales, consulting or engineering experience in a SaaS/iPass organization

  • Hands on experience with automation technologies, middleware, integration architecture patterns, web services technologies, enterprise messaging patterns, APIs, SOA, ESB, BPM, SDKs, and Databases

  • Experience with cloud technologies - iPaaS, SaaS applications, cloud infrastructureKnowledge of integration and

  • Application development and programming experience (Ruby, JavaScript/Front End UI frameworks, Java, Python are preferred)

  • Ability to learn new concepts, technologies and solve problems

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to convey and relate ideas to others and work collaboratively to get things done.

  • Ability to lead architectural discussions

  • A passion for technology and translating that passion into business impact for customers

  • Excellent verbal communication, written communication, and presentation skills in front of all audiences. 

  • Experience delivering field initiatives that interface with product management and engineering teams including an understanding of product release readiness cycles, joint SC/PM activities, and best practices in product feedback from the field to product teams. 

  • Knowledge of best practices for leveraging content management and knowledge management systems.

  • Passion and flexibility to work well in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

  • Growth mindset, ability to iterate, and design-thinking approach to problem-solving

  • Excellent organization and time management skills

  • Open to learning every day and has a strong sense of humility. 

  • Startup experience is a plus
