We are looking for an exceptional Enterprise Data Solutions Architect to join our growing team. What you will do:

  • Design Customer Solutions. ­Work with DW teams at existing and potential customers to deeply understand their business and technical needs. 

  • Develop solutions that make the best use of the Workato platform for ETL/ELT, data pipelines, and automations

  • Collaborate with field sales, training, and support teams to ensure customer success.

  • Exhibit Thought Leadership. Evangelize Workato powered solutions that benefit customers. 

  • Share best practices through forums such as product blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures, Automation Pro community and public speaking events such as Webinars, virtual customer and partner events.

  • Produce courses, demos and tutorials for using Workato for building data pipelines

  • Partner with Customer Account Teams, Business Development Managers and Analytics Service teams to accelerate customer adoption and revenue attainment.

  • Act as technical liaison between customers and the Workato CS teams, provide product improvement feedback to the Workato engineering team and accelerate the adoption of new features in customer deployments.

  • Assist solution providers with the definition and implementation of technical and business strategies.

  • Understand Workato market segments and industry verticals

  • Develop and support the Workato internal community of Analytics technologists.

What you will need:

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience working in enterprise scale data warehousing, data architecture and/or data engineering environments.

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Data Architect, Data Engineer, Data Scientist or similar role

  • Experience with Enterprise Data Governance, Big Data Solutions, Master data management, Data Privacy and Security, Machine Learning, and Data Pipeline Operations.

  • Experience implementing operational best practices such as monitoring, alerting, metadata management.

  • Experience with building analytic solutions applicable to Sales, Finance, Product and Marketing organizations in an enterprise.

  • Extensive hands on experience in data warehousing design, dimensional models,  ETL/ELT and data pipeline architecture

  • Experience building ETL pipelines using ETL tools like FiveTran, Matillion, Talend or other

  • Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with cloud data platforms like Snowflake, Google BigQuery, Amazon Redshift

  • Clear understanding of Snowflake's advanced concepts like virtual warehouses, query performance using micro partitions and pruning, zero copy clone, time travel, resource monitors and security control methods including network, data, role -based etc.

  • Expertise in planning and implementing Snowflake's virtual warehouse sizes, resource monitoring, planning security and role-based access control strategies

  • Experience with SnowPipe and SnowSQL Development

  • Experience in working with any 1 cloud marketplace - AWS, Azure or Google data services

  • Knowledge of using orchestration frameworks like Airflow, Oozie, Luigi, etc.

  • Familiarity with big data infrastructure inclusive of MapReduce, Hive, HDFS, YARN, HBase, Oozie, etc.

  • Excellent SQL and strong hands-on scripting (bash, perl or python) ability

  • Familiarity with with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Looker, Thoughtspot, or other)

  • In-depth understanding of database structure principles

  • Experience working with different file formats like Parquet, ORC, Avro, JSON etc.

  • Expertise with code versioning tools Git, perforce, SVN etc.

  • Knowledge building stream processing platforms using Spark Streaming, Storm, etc. Knowledge of Kafka/Flink+Beam would be plus

  • Knowledge of building REST API endpoints for data consumption

  • Knowledge of implementing CI/CD in the pipelines is a plus
