We are looking for an exceptional Newsletter Editor to join our growing team. In this role, you will know how to monitor results of newsletter/email marketing and increase subscription rates/open rates/clickthrough rates.

Responsibilities

  • Create monthly newsletters with our CIO thought leader and bi-weekly newsletters for Business Technology leader

  • Curate existing content that appeals to our target audience as well as create original content for the newsletter (such as video interviews)

  • Work closely with Content Marketing and Marketing Ops leads to establish realistic goals for the company's email and newsletter efforts as well as a clear plan for assessing progress

  • Be the final signoff and deployer of weekly and monthly newsletters

  • Work with various stakeholders throughout the organization to determine and address ongoing content needs

  • Work with MarketingOps to amplify content through email marketing (determine audience, build email copy, monitor response, adjust strategy)

  • Collaborate with creative designers to develop impactful digital content

  • Track and adjust accordingly based on pre-defined, business-aligned goals

Requirements 

Technical Skills

  • Strong writing and editing skills

  • Demonstrated experience with audience development techniques and growth of contact databases

  • Experience with Marketo a plus

  • An understanding of digital and content marketing strategies, and the ability to integrate campaign elements across earned, owned, and paid media

  • Strong organizational skills to execute projects from conception to launch, independently and in collaboration with other team members

  • Strong communication skills to share expertise within the team and to internal stakeholders

  • At least 3 years of experience in a journalism or content marketing role

  • An entrepreneurial spirit and deep curiosity

  • The ability to juggle many projects at once

  • The ability to both create and maintain projects, likely at the same time

  • Highly adaptable and ability to shift priorities in real-time
