Position Summary

Workato is looking for a Partner & Customer Marketing Intern who will primarily work with the Marketing and Business Development teams and will be exposed to end-to-end marketing initiatives and events management. 

You will collaborate on communication strategy and the execution of programs across our customer and partner ecosystem, ensuring that our customers and partners are engaged in key programs that drive ARR. You will also be involved in creating brand awareness for Workato among the Business Systems, CIO and Partner Communities.  You are versatile with a genuine interest in learning more about and gaining experience in tech marketing.


Workato offers a fast-moving, fun, work environment and the opportunity to see your contributions make a direct impact on the business, customers and our community. Partner & Customer Marketing Intern responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Help execute key customer programs such as Customer Badge Awards and Customer Review program (for sites such as G2Crowd and TrustRadius)

  • Assist in executing pipeline-generating co-marketing events (such as webinars, field events, email campaigns and direct mailers) with key partners

  • Work with sales, customer success and partner teams to build a repertoire of case studies

  • Work with content and social media teams to drive awareness of customer and partner wins

  • Help with key marketing events such as: Partner Summit, Business Systems Conference, Customer Advisory Board, and more

  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams (Content Marketing, Product Marketing, Design, Sales, Customer Success) to execute various marketing 


Qualifications and Experience

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communication or relevant experience 

  • Familiarity with Google Suite, Salesforce, Impartner, and G2Crowd is a plus


  • Strong analytical skills to track and develop campaigns

  • Excellent communication, copywriting and presentation skills

  • Able to work independently with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through

  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and comfortable with ambiguity

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and enthusiasm, team oriented, strong cross-group collaborator
