We are looking for an exceptional Business Development Representative to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for researching, qualifying and driving entry into prospective partner accounts across a range of ecosystems. You will work closely with the partner management team to establish business and technical relationships and shape the future of the partner ecosystem. This role reports to the Senior Director of Business Development.

  • Identify prospective partners, qualify their interest and viability, and initiate relationships

  • Field discovery calls and emails to develop and nurture interest

  • Drive partner recruitment of qualified prospective partners before handing them off to the partner management team  

  • Understand integration and automation requirements of vertical ecosystem and present the Workato partner value proposition


Qualifications and Experience

  • 0 - 2 years of relevant experience in sales and/or partner management role 

  • Proven track record of building relationships and supporting stakeholders

  • Lots of passion and love for the work you do

  • Entrepreneurial experience highly beneficial

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business or other relevant majors


  • Understanding of business and curiosity to learn about business processes

  • Sales with motivation to build a business together with our partner(s)

  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic start-up environment with a passion for making an impact

  • Ability to build appropriate rapport with diplomacy and tact

  • Solid verbal and written presentation, communication, and influencing skills

  • Possesses strategic thinking, able to plan ahead and respond proactively
