The Job in short:

As Marketing Operations Manager you are the key in keeping marketing effort together, laying the foundation of marketing success, and enabling scale. Through your role, you ensure that technology and automation are integrated and deployed effectively, funnels are optimized, campaign performance is increased, goals are defined clearly and kept in focus, data is tracked properly, reports are used and insights applied, budgets are respected, planning is actionable, and communication routines are smooth.

 

Meet the Job

Marketing Process:

● Develop, document, and continuously improve marketing processes and workflows to enhance operational efficiency and scalability.
Collaborate with stakeholders to streamline lead generation, nurturing, scoring, and handoff processes between marketing and sales teams;
● Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement in marketing operations and implement solutions to optimize performance;
● Documents and trains global and regional marketing on the ways of working and best-practice marketing process.

Marketing Systems Management:

● Orchestrates the roadmapping of the marketing technology stack and applications;
Leads the integration of the different marketing technologies across the lead and customer journey;
● Ensures all users are proficient in the use of the the core marketing technologies (Marketo, Salesforce and 6Sense as our core platforms);
● Defines and optimizes the lead scoring and life cycle model;
● Ensure all channels are tracked and are following internal processes;
● Ensure data integrity, cleanliness, and compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) across marketing databases and systems.

Campaign Management:

● Lead the planning, execution, and measurement of marketing campaigns across multiple channels (e.g., email, social media, digital advertising, events);
● Collaborate with marketing teams to define campaign objectives, target audience segmentation, messaging, and creative assets;
● Monitor campaign performance metrics, analyze results, and provide insights to optimize future campaigns and maximize ROI.

Analytics & Reporting:

● Responsible for full funnel tracking and analytics across platforms and throughout the customer lifecyclev
● Ensures data quality & hygiene;
● Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and establish reporting frameworks to measure the effectiveness and impact of marketing initiatives (ROI analysis);
● Generate regular reports and dashboards to communicate marketing performance, trends, and insights to stakeholders;
● Conduct deep-dive analysis to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for optimization across marketing channels and campaigns

 Cross-Functional Collaboration:

● Partner with Sales and other relevant departments to ensure alignment of marketing strategies with overall business goals and objectives;
● Work closely with finance to manage marketing budgets, track expenses, and optimize resource allocation for maximum ROI.

Leadership:

● Coach junior digital marketers skills on Martech;
● Ability to manage the stakeholder landscape of practitioners and managers in Martech and field;
● Translate business objectives, commercial targets into marketing OKRs.

 

How about you

● Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field,; MBA or advanced degree preferred;
● 8+ years experience in marketing operations and marketing automation, with a proven track record, preferably in the Enterprise SaaS space;
● In-depth knowledge of Marketing technologies including platforms like Marketo and Salesforce; ideally also Analytic tools;
● Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques to extract insights from complex datasets and drive data-driven decision-making;
● Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organizationv
● Strategic mindset with the ability to think creatively, identify opportunities for process improvement, and drive innovation in marketing operations;
● Excellent English language skills, written and spoken.
