Meet the Job

Join our pre-Sales Solutions Engineering team and champion the success of our banking customers. You'll be their trusted advisor, problem-solver, and visionary crafting innovative Backbase solutions and demos that solve their toughest challenges and fuel their growth.

Client Focus 

Being a technical subject matter expert is only part of this role; it's an opportunity to work directly with customers and understand their business deeply, build meaningful relationships, craft winning solutions, and lead the commercial engine of Backbase.

Impactful Solutions 

Design, demo, and present market-changing solutions that solve real problems in banking. At the same time, your solutions will ultimately empower people around the world to reach financial security by putting powerful tools [literally] in the palm of their hands.

Collaborative Spirit

Partner closely with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success) and clients throughout the journey, fostering trust and open communication. You're a true team player with a "make it happen" approach to your work. We work hard and play hard, celebrating wins and enjoying social hours or company events together.

Global Reach

We work with diverse teams and clients around the world and seek to make a global impact. One week you may be presenting to a customer in the US, and another week collaborating with our teams in Europe or Asia.

Do you possess high technical aptitude combined with a passion for serving others? Do you thrive while working with customer-facing teams to win business?

In addition, we believe you will need the following attributes to be successful at Backbase;

  • A deep curiosity for client needs and a desire to make measurable, lasting impact.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to build strong relationships with clients.
  • Proven knowledge and understanding of modern enterprise software architectures, mobile & web technologies (Java, Spring, Angular, iOS, Android, Kubernetes).
  • Entrepreneurial energy to think, create, build and improve! You have a passion for learning, growing, and sharing your knowledge to empower clients and colleagues.
  • Skill of a craftsman and attention to detail to delivery superior technology solutions.
  • Experience in financial services is preferred (especially banking).
  • Ideally you are able to work from our Atlanta hub in a flexible (hybrid), friendly work environment.
