Your Mission
- Being a Product Engineer at woom means being part of the product development cycle of our products from initial concepts, through development, testing and industrialisation.
- As a Product Engineer you often act independently, representing Engineering on numerous projects. Especially in the early innovation stages and development phases of products.
- Tolerance stack analysis, Bolted joint calculations, collision & wall thickness checks, scheme drawings of assembled parts and Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (DFMEA) are some of the methods to pre-qualify ones designs.
- Cross-collaboration with several departments including Design, Product Management and Commercialization, Supply Chain Management, Product Testing and Compliance keeps the role exciting and helps getting insights from different perspectives.
- In liaison with the mentioned teams you define inputs for and review/implement the results of, virtual validation simulation and real world testing.
Your Skills
- Experience in the bicycle industry or passionate hands-on experience is also a big plus.
- You are experienced and up to date on the latest tools as 3D CAD, Product Data Management and have demonstrable experience with Solidworks.
- You are known to work independently on your own projects and guiding different stakeholders or teams through the process.
- You enjoy hands-on prototyping, but are equally comfortable creating complete 2D manufacturing drawings according to current standards.
- Your self-motivation, independence and proactiveness drives you to find new ways, to solve problems and provides you new perspectives.
- You are fluent in English. German is a definite plus.

For this position, we offer you a gross monthly salary starting at EUR 3.000,-on a full-time basis. Of course, we take into account your individual qualifications and experience and are willing to pay an appropriate overpayment. We will be happy to discuss details in person.
