SUMMARY

WONGDOODY APAC has brought together a world-class team of creative experts in strategy and innovation, multi-channel user experience, visual design, technology and delivery. With our proven ability to attract and retain top talent, we are looking for a Sr. Designer, Experience Design Consultant who thrives on challenge and who is hungry to grow in their ability and knowledge to work on-site as a consultant with a international company in the financial sector.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design customer-focused solutions that meet measurable business objectives and be able to continuously evolve these solutions
  • Translate business requirements, market research, user needs and models of social behaviour into conceptual diagrams, wireframes, visual mock-ups, information architecture diagrams, interaction specifications and prototypes
  • Gather qualitative and quantitative user feedback and distil it into insights to create and optimise customer journeys
  • Bring inspiring ideas and motivation into an energetic and collaborative team and be able to lead cross-functional design concept reviews from initial sketches and wireframes and prototypes through final design

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4+ years of experience working at a digital agency as an Information Architect / Experience Designer / Product Designer / UX Designer
  • Experience on creating mobile, tablet and web experiences for mid and large sized organisations
  • Portfolio of key projects delivered in past years, calling out your role on the project, deliverables responsible and successes achieved.
  • Experience creating detailed wireframes, sitemaps, content and site audits. Example deliverables requested
  • Excellent communication skills (both in conversation and in writing) and a portfolio which demonstrates strong problem-solving ability in various phases of design and delivery
  • Familiarity with the technical considerations needed when designing for mobile customer experiences
  • Ability to work gracefully and have a bias for action in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment
  • Ability to drive the design review cycle and close on design requirements independently
  • Experience developing detailed user-interface specifications and design patterns
  • Worked within collaborative, cross-functional teams to deliver multiple, successful projects
  • Ability to travel abroad
  • A sense of humour!

Bonus round

  • The ability to create functional prototypes for touch screen devices
  • Experience with designing, setting up and conducting user testing and research studies
  • Experience creating digital strategies and content strategies
  • Experience in the financial sector, and 
  • Working with remote and International stakeholders and teams.
