What We’re Looking For

Wonders is looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) Team Lead to help scale our growing Sales Development function in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. As a lead of SDRs, you will oversee up to 10 SDRs, build and improve SOPs, and be tasked with helping drive greater operational efficiencies. This is a player/coach role with the expectation this individual will be able to roll up their sleeves and help generate pipeline as needed.

This is a permanent night shift position. Specific work hours will be discussed during the interview process.

What You’ll Accomplish

  • Lead, mentor, and train a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs)
  • Take ownership of and oversee metrics and objectives crucial for achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual targets
  • Assume the role of a proactive "player-coach" and collaborative team player to enhance processes and boost overall performance, rolling up your sleeves when necessary
  • Closely partner with the SDR Manager, cultivating an atmosphere of ongoing learning within the Sales Development Team
  • Offer regular visibility and insights into sales development activities, hand-offs, dispositions, and outcomes across regions, teams, and individual performances
  • Work alongside Revenue Operations to manage and update sales pipeline information in the CRM, including sales opportunity details, contact data, and call/meeting history
  • Implement, refine, and standardize key sales processes to establish consistent and repeatable actions that reliably drive revenue growth
  • In collaboration with Sales Enablement, continuously refine sales cadences, pitches, and collateral to maximize effectiveness
  • In collaboration with Marketing, create targeted outreach strategies and promptly respond to inbound leads

About You

  • Professional-level fluency in English & Mandarin (both spoken and written)
  • At least two (2) years of relevant Team Leader experience managing a minimum of 5 direct reports, preferably working in a Sales Development or Business Development capacity
  • Strong passion for helping people through coaching and problem solving
  • Ability to work well in an ambiguous environment and thrive
  • Bachelor's degree or college experience preferred
  • Bonus: The ideal candidate has experience in the restaurant-technology industry

Qualities That Will Make You Successful In This Role

  • A self-motivated and disciplined individual with strong oral and written communication skills
  • Previous managerial experience in overseeing an outbound Sales Development team, particularly focused on calls, within a rapidly expanding SaaS company
  • Proven track record leveraging cold calling techniques to drive sales excellence and team success
  • Driven by metrics, possessing an analytical mindset for addressing business challenges and coaching sales representatives
  • Experience using Salesforce and a modern sales stack
  • Dependable and consistently delivers performance and provide timely support for the team - day in and day out
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment
