Wolf Den Associates is seeking experienced Associates and Senior Associates to support our clients’ organic and inorganic growth initiatives. These roles are part market research and competitive intelligence specialist, part project lead, and part business analyst.

The ideal candidates need to possess the following qualities:
-Hands-on experience performing research on federal government industry trends and market participants, to include competitive intelligence;
-Interest in learning our repeatable processes and tools for strategic planning, M&A due diligence, and pipeline building and analysis;
-Experience manipulating and normalizing data in Excel using a variety of algorithms and processes;
-The appetite to support the diligence process and evaluation of target companies and assist in development of the strategic/ financial /operating /integration plan pre-deal;
-The desire to assist with building strategic plan, go to market, and individual capture plan presentations for senior management and client boards of directors;
-The interest in seeing research through to contract wins by participating in live capture and proposal activities;
-The gravitas to lead a room of professionals towards a common goal;
-The creativity to tie together the answers to disparate requirements spanning strategic, technical, marketing, management, and financial disciplines into one cohesive response;
-The fortitude to successfully recover from reviewer feedback in a limited timeframe;
-The sense of urgency and fastidious approach required to succeed in a demanding environment where customers expect high-quality; and
-The desire to be part of a pure meritocracy that works hard, but also plays hard – we take our work seriously, but we don’t take ourselves too seriously

We do not have specific educational or experiential requirements, however, we will expect demonstrable aptitude from any candidate. This includes a writing sample and might also incorporate a sample market research case evaluation. We vet candidates differently every time, mainly because it is fun, but also because the ideal candidate is nimble, flexible, responsive, and able to adjust under fire in real time.
