Resident Position: We are seeking two awesome Human Resources Residents to join our fall session, beginning on Monday, September 13th and ending in December.
Candidate Profile: We are looking for curious, creative and energetic people with exceptional drive and attention to detail to join our People & Culture function this fall. No prior HR experience is required, and in fact, we’d prefer it that way. This includes seniors, recent grads and graduate students.
The Nitty Gritty: We believe each team member makes a significant contribution to our success and this opportunity is designed to provide access to the wider W+K ecosystem through a People & Culture lens.
Below are some areas we look forward to partnering with you to build and enhance this fall!
Helping enhance the new hire employee experience and soliciting feedback;
Helping track and schedule inclusion, diversity & equity programming and initiatives;
Learning how to conduct onboarding and orientation;
Assisting with our health & wellness initiatives;
Helping develop a speaker series to provide more learning opportunities internally;
Assisting with the logistics surrounding off-sites and team building activities for the HR department and operations teams;
Assisting with training program implementation and scheduling;
Learning the HRIS landscape and functions to include data analysis;
Helping us enrich our new HBCU partnership;
Assisting with the internal mentorship program;
And… much, much MORE!
Time Commitment: The HR Resident Program is a 35- 40 hours a week (9:30 to 5) in-person commitment and is paid (yes, paid!). However, in addition to pay, there are many other perks you will no doubt enjoy which includes working with amazing people- the secret sauce that makes Wieden + Kennedy so special!
