Wizards of the Coast seeks a Seior Digital Product Manager to develop and help build engaging experiences for the successful Magic: The Gathering Arena game. This role can be Full Time Remote or on-site at our Renton, WA office.

What You'll Do:

As a Senior Digital Product Manager, you will contribute the right mix of a passion for Magic, data-informed design, and a desire to build exciting content. You will thrive in a team environment where we reward collaboration, respect, and open communication.

A Senior Product Manager will accurately identify opportunities to improve the player experience and direct others to implement Magic: The Gathering - Arena content and events while assessing the impact on performance indicators. This role is a crucial steward for crafting phenomenal digital Magic experiences for our passionate players. Do you have the determination to help eliminate ambiguity, drive solutions, and usher in the 4th decade of Magic?

  • Lead the effort to identify ways to improve the product.
  • Articulate appropriate and efficient solutions within the project scope.
  • Own the quality of live content and effectively measure the results.
  • Grow and apply your existing passion for Magic, and the community.
  • Advocate for the player while balancing technical constraints and practical data comparisons.

What You'll Bring:

The ideal candidate has a potent mix of creativity, leadership, technical expertise, and experience from the innovative live services gaming space.

  • Minimum of 4 years of product development experience.
  • Passion and experience with Magic: The Gathering.
  • Experience defining product and feature requirements as well as the corresponding performance indicators.
  • Experience on a live service game working on seasonal content, feature development, and content plan design.
  • Strong oral, and written communication skills.
  • A proven track record of focusing on solving prioritized problems, balancing multiple tasks, and timely delivery.
  • Superior interpersonal skills.
  • Ability and desire to work in a diverse team.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across a spectrum of business, design, and technology personnel at all levels of the organization.
  • Organized and diligent about the features your team owns.

Nice to Have:

  • Sophisticated familiarity with Magic: The Gathering, i. e. constructing custom decks, or experience as a judge in tabletop events.
  • Experience with SQL.
  • Experience in an agile or a live software development team.
  • A solid understanding of game economies.
  • Professional digital game design experience.
