As the Product Marketing Manager, you will be a leader on our team responsible for telling the world the story of our product.
We have a fun brand, a very loyal following, and a lot of people using our products every day. As we launch new features - we need your help getting the word out to our audience. Both to existing users, and our future customers! While your days will be primarily focused on product marketing, we're looking for someone who can help problem solve wherever marketing opportunities present themselves. We're looking for a savvy digital marketer with a broad skill set versus a narrow specialist.
In a given week you might be: defining product positioning and messaging, creating compelling content for our blog and email, and educating other teams across the company about features.
This role is cross-functional, requiring regular communication with Wistia Product, Sales, and Customer Success teams to be successful. Candidates should be team-oriented and have a can do attitude and be comfortable working in a fast paced, cross-functional team environment. Responsibilities:
Work closely with our product team to understand what new features & functionality we'll be releasing to our customers, and when.
Create positioning that helps educate our customers (and our internal teams) about upcoming product features and their benefits to our audience.
Create content (website copy, product videos, email, blog posts, customers case studies, etc) to articulate the benefits of our products to the world.
Teach our Sales & Customer Success teams about the product features & benefits
Measure and optimize the buyer journey as it relates to product feature adoption and usage.
Explore new and innovative ways that we can be driving product adoption and communicating about our product
The best candidates will have:
BA/BS or equivalent degree
4-6 yrs of total digital marketing experience, with 1-2 years of product marketing experience
Curiosity and ability to learn quickly
Excellent written and verbal communication skills --- there is a lot of writing and storytelling in this role
Motivated by creativity
Passionate about technology
Strong organizational and project management skills
Familiarity with marketing automation tools and Google Analytics
