Wirex is opening a new position for a System Product Owner to join one of the backend teams. 

The team 

Was formed a year ago, with the objective to improve Wirex service quality across all user base in terms of reliability, end-to-end processing times and solution robustness through the application of industry best approaches and technics.

  • Gather and analyze new requirements and changes concerning team service ownership.
  • Compose detailed and understandable system requirements in form of specifications.
  • Proactively communicate team inputs and plans to other TPO/SPO on the one hand and upcoming changes across surrounding microservices and client apps to the team on the other.
  • Analyze 3rd parties API documentation that works on different markets (Asia, USA, EU, etc.) and create integration requirements for back-end developers.
  • Proactively investigate any raising issues during development or testing activities to make sure everything is implemented correctly, and all corner cases are covered.
  • Support the team during daily/weekly routines (stand-ups, retros, and planings). 


  • 2+ years experience as a System Analyst/Business analyst, preferably with technical background.
  • Deep understanding of crypto technologies (cryptography, smart contracts, nodes, consensus schemes, DAppsDeFi etc). 
  • Understanding of Client-Server architectures.
  • Understanding of Microservices / SOA approach.
  • Upper-intermediate English.

Nice to have

  • Event-driven architecture experience.
  • Experience with currency exchanges integrations. 
  • Programming skills.
