What you’ll do:

  • As a Banking Analyst at Wiley Edge, you'll be instrumental in analyzing and enhancing complex financial applications within a global team environment.

What you’ll learn at the Wiley Edge Academy: 

  • Developing proficiency in conducting comprehensive financial data analysis and generating detailed reports.
  • Developing and demonstrating a high level of professionalism, emphasizing effective communication skills and adept personal interactions crucial in the financial services sector.
  • Mastering the ability to articulate complex financial industry concepts at a high level, ensuring effective communication with both colleagues and external stakeholders.
  • Gaining an understanding of monitoring, supporting, and troubleshooting financial systems, recognizing how these activities are integral to maintaining robust and efficient development processes in the banking sector.

What you need:

  • You have a university degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Law, Bookkeeping, Physics or similar field, however we equally welcome graduates of all degrees. 
  • Good grades. We look for potential, not prestige, but it’s important that you enjoy pushing yourself to pick up new ideas.
  • You are PC literate, including proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • You have genuine interest in a career in financial services
  • Knowledge of Accounting Principles
  • Previous experience (commercial, volunteering, internships) working in Accounting, Banking, Bookkeeping or Investments
  • Knowledge of Financial Instruments, Financial Statements preparation, Investment Funds and NAV calculations
  • The successful candidate must, by the start of the employment, have permission to work in the UK / Ireland
