Python Automation Engineer - Investment Banking

We have an urgent requirement for an experienced Solutions / Tooling Engineer to join a global risk reporting automation programme with a major bank in Glasgow.

The role will be working to implement and enhance the bank’s regulatory automation tooling capabilities across applications and infrastructure, helping them to enforce governance & standardisation for the business teams utilising a technical stack of XML, Python and SQL within a Unix / Linux environment.

We are looking for a Solutions Engineer to join the Product Implementation and Engineering team within the risk and regulatory reporting group. The Automation Engineer must have technical expertise in Python scripting, Linux, SQL queries (Oracle/SQL Server/Sybase) and a keen interest in financial markets.
