Java Full Stack Developer - Leading Investment Bank

Incredible opportunity to work within a leading investment bank.

We are looking to add to our cross asset Alumni Pro Development team with Java Developers. The successful candidate will need between 1 to 4 years experience working in a similar role or exhibiting the same skillset.

We are looking for a Java Full Stack Developer to join a growing team in Glasgow (a key strategic location). This is a dynamic team that are building systems that are critical to the business and solving problems to meet the ever changing environment on a global scale across the bank. The team focuses on defining and adopting the future cloud technology strategy, adopting the best practices and architectural design. You will work primarily as a Full Stack Developer as part of a collaborative agile development team and be required to liaise directly with a variety of stakeholders throughout the firm.

Skills:

Full Stack experience
Java/Scala Backends
Angular/Similar front end
Distributed compute concepts: Spark, Data Bricks, Apache Beam etc.
Azure Cloud Technologies
Cloud DB / Relational DB: Snowflake / Sybase
Unix experience
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
