About the Role


We’re looking for our first Physical Security specialist to implement and execute Wildlife’s safety and security programs. They will partner with the Office Operations team to provide support and guidance in the area of employee safety and physical security standards. This person will also safeguard tangible and intangible assets by enforcing measures to protect and reduce risk to physical, informational, financial and intellectual property assets.

What you’ll do

  •  Implement security and threat management programs to support the safety and well-being of employees and physical assets
  • Directly manage any third party security officers and coverage. Provide feedback and when required disciplinary action for violation of security policies
  •  Enforce physical security policies, ensuring that all employees, contractors and visitors’ are safe
  • Conduct shift tours of the work environment to proactively identify hazards or any physical security issues, immediately report any violations to the head of operations and facilities leader when applicable
  • Investigate theft, safety issues utilizing company provided systems
  • Complete any approved security-related access request and create access cards as needed
  • Complete any required documentation/report writing
  • Maintain relationships with law enforcement and related governmental agencies

What you'll need

  • A minimum of 5 years of security experience in office or secure facility environment (can also include a mix of law enforcement and military experience)
  • Experience with Camera and Access Control systems
  • Experience managing security teams
  • A Bachelor’s degree is preferred
  •  The ability to build partnerships and influence stakeholders
