Whiteboard Federal is seeking a Software Test Engineer to work in a fast-paced environment, including working with multiple project teams, platforms, architectures, and diverse technologies. Candidates will design, develop, test, and implement software systems using object-oriented design and various programming languages. Develop unit and integration test procedures. Update and create new automation/manual test scripts based on change requests and defects and execute test scripts to ensure the application is fully compliant with specifications.
Primary Responsibilities:
Developing test validation scripts using program designated languages (ex: Java, Python).
Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and test methodologies.
Experience with automated test tools, including Selenium and/or Katalon Studio.
Experience with the effective execution of automation processes.
Ability to analyze requirements, formulate the design.
Ability to test both front end and back applications.
Experience with Perl and/or other scripting languages.
Experience with Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems.
Experience with the documentation and communication of issues found during any test cycle.
Basic Qualifications:
A Bachelor or Master's Degree or equivalent experience.
Demonstrate professional experience in a technical field.
Experience with automated and manual testing.
Ability to communicate with partners and non-technical users.
Desired Skills:
Experience with Model View Controller (MVC) applications using Spring MVC or a similar framework.
Experience with different types of testing, including functional, user acceptance, usability, automated, performance, and SOAP.
Knowledge of management tools, including JIRA Platform.
