Whiteboard Federal is seeking a Systems Administrator to provide mission-critical support to our customers. The ideal candidate will work closely with development and system engineering personnel to document, coordinate, and communicate releases.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.
Manage IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems.
Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
Configure and manage operating systems (Linux, Unix, Windows).
Install/load operating systems and application software.
Troubleshoot, maintain integrity, and configure network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
Integrate new technologies into new and existing systems including the transition and migration of corporate systems.
Perform moderately complex network designs using existing technology.
Experience with Docker/Kubernetes-based scalable architectures.
Basic Qualifications:
A Bachelor or Master's Degree or equivalent experience.
Demonstrated professional experience in supporting IT environments.
Experience managing network technologies (VPNs, subnets), traffic routing, and firewalls.
Desired Skills:
Experience transitioning to a cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure)
Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
Highly self-motivated with keen attention to detail.
Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
