Whistle Sports in seeking an Insights Analyst at our New York headquarters.  This is an exciting entry-level opportunity for someone hungry to translate data/research into actionable marketing/business insights.

 Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Synthesize large amounts of data from disparate sources into audience insights, content development ideas and marketing recommendations for internal teams and clients
  • Analyze data from YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter to develop actionable strategies that increase video viewership, post engagement and channel growth on social media
  • Oversee full lifecycle of analytics for brand partnership campaigns, including proposal development, measurement setup, in-market optimizations and post-campaign reporting
  • Tell digestible stories to internal stakeholders and clients with data; build polished, scalable, insightful deliverables that benchmark performance and emphasize recommendations
  • Forecast KPI goals for social media channels and campaigns based on quantitative modeling
  • Evaluate ROI of content and marketing spends  
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, sales, programming, media) to understand, document and address their reporting/ analytical needs
  • Manage internal tracking and reporting cadence for critical metrics and KPIs

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 1-2 years experience in a highly analytical role
  • Experience in social media analytics, marketing analytics, audience analytics, consumer insights or other applicable field at an agency or in-house
  • Familiarity with digital/social video content
  • Proven ability to integrate multiple data sources and translate them into actionable insights that influence business partners
  • Expert in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience using YouTube Analytics and Facebook Insights strongly prefered
  • Experience using Google Analytics, comScore and third-party social analytics tools (e.g., Tubular, Crowdtangle) preferred
  • Experience with SQL and Tableau a plus, but not required
