About The Role

We are looking for a resourceful and detail-oriented Facilities and Inventory Manager to lead the logistics, procurement, and maintenance operations that power both our R&D and Production teams. In this hybrid position—encompassing elements of an In-stock Manager, Inventory Specialist, and Facilities Manager—you will oversee all aspects of parts management, from procurement through inventory tracking and asset management, while also ensuring our facilities remain safe, efficient, and well-maintained. By collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will drive operational excellence, streamline processes, and guarantee that both physical assets and resources are managed effectively to support Whisper Aero’s rapid growth and innovation.

What You’ll Do

  • Oversee and manage the inventory of R&D and production parts, maintaining accurate records and minimizing excess stock. Proactively resolve discrepancies, ensure critical parts are available, and develop systems to track assets from acquisition to disposal.
  • Handle procurement of parts for R&D and production, collaborating with suppliers to secure timely and cost-effective delivery. Coordinate the movement of materials between suppliers, warehouses, and internal teams to ensure on-time arrivals.
  • Oversee the maintenance and operation of company facilities, managing service contracts and preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, and coordinate office space planning to accommodate growth.
  • Monitor and streamline the flow of materials and parts across all departments, identifying areas for improvement in procurement, inventory control, and logistics processes.
  • Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and production teams to forecast inventory requirements based on project timelines and production schedules. Leverage historical data to refine demand predictions and reduce the risk of stockouts or excess inventory.
  • Serve as the liaison between departments, including R&D, engineering, and production, to address materials and facilities needs. Work closely with leadership to resolve facility or asset management issues impacting ongoing projects.
  • Maintain adherence to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations in facilities and inventory management. Oversee workplace safety measures and coordinate required training for team members.
  • Provide regular updates to senior leadership on inventory levels, procurement efficiency, and facility status. Maintain accurate documentation, conduct audits as needed, and continuously evaluate processes to incorporate industry best practices and emerging technologies.

Basic Qualifications

  • U.S. Person status (citizen or permanent resident)

OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
