Wheely is not a traditional ride-hailing company. We are building a platform with user privacy at its core while successfully scaling a five-star service to millions of rides across multiple cities.
We are looking for a skilled Frontend Engineer to join one of our dynamic technical teams, such as Wheely for Business (B2B), Supply, Customer Support, Growth, etc.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop visually stunning, high-performance user interfaces for Wheely's luxury customer-facing services, implementing scalable and reusable front-end components.
- Contribute to the front-end platform through technical frameworks, improving security, privacy, and development processes.
- Collaborate closely with Product Designers, Product Managers, and other Software Engineers to bring concepts to life and ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development workflows, including CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and technical documentation
- Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.

Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in a Software Engineer, Frontend / Frontend Engineer / Frontend Developer role.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Browser APIs.
- At least 3 years of experience with TypeScript, React, Redux or alternative state management libraries (e.g. MobX).
- Experience with performance optimization, maintainability, and rich UI design.
- Experience with SaaS, PostCSS, and modern build tools such as Webpack or their alternatives.
- Experience with automated testing, such as end-to-end tests (Playwright, Selenium), UI/Component tests (e.g. using Jest), or snapshot tests.
- STEM (technical) degree.
