About the role
As the Partnerships Marketing Manager at Wheely Middle East, you will play a crucial role in driving the success and visibility of our brand within the region. Your role will primarily focus on cultivating and managing strategic partnerships and co-op marketing. You will identify, source, and close deals with key partners in the region to fuel our growth. You will manage those partnerships, and drive new customer acquisition and revenue growth.
You will act as a liaison between Wheely and our valued partners, overseeing promotional activities and events, and collaborating with our sales and operations teams to align marketing efforts with business objectives.
You will also be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies, managing campaigns, and analyzing performance metrics to drive brand awareness and customer engagement.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in strategic marketing and partnership management, and will contribute significantly to the growth of our organization in the region. It requires a creative and data-driven mindset, excellent communication and project management skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Co-Op Marketing / Partnerships: Lead partnerships in the region, defining and executing strategies to drive business growth through robust, effective, and high-profile partnerships. This includes identifying, sourcing, and closing deals with potential partners, and managing those relationships to implement co-op campaigns.
- Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans that align with the company’s goals and enhance our brand presence in the Middle East.
- Campaign Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and analysis of marketing campaigns across various channels, and in collaboration with our strategic partners.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing activities, using data to drive continuous improvement. Identify the most effective strategies and opportunities to enhance ongoing growth marketing initiatives.
- Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape, providing insights to inform marketing strategies.
- Budget Management: Own the marketing budget and keep up-to-date materials that showcase marketing plans to senior leadership. Ensure optimal allocation of resources to maximize ROI. Track and report against KPIs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including operations, product, and customer experience, to ensure alignment and success. Ensure that the right messages are delivered to the right audiences at each stage of the customer acquisition funnel.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of omni-channel marketing experience in a fast-paced environment (preferably tech scale-ups).
- Co-Op Marketing / Partnership Experience: 2+ years of experience in building partnerships with partners in sports, arts, luxury goods, etc. or other segments relevant to Wheely.
- Event Management: 2+ years managing events, including planning and executing logistics, onsite presence
- Skills: Strong understanding of marketing principles, digital marketing, media planning, and event management. Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills.
- Project Management: Ability to see projects through from ideation to execution, while managing multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: Impeccable attention to detail and creative storytelling skills.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is required. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Personal Attributes: Creative thinker, results-driven, and a strong leader with the ability to inspire and motivate stakeholders toward clear results. Enthusiastic and eager to grow and learn with the company.
- Language: Fluency in English is required; Arabic proficiency is highly desirable.
- Regional Experience: Strong understanding of the UAE and broader GCC market.
