WeWork TLV is looking for experienced and passionate engineering leaders that thrive in small, focused and highly collaborative teams. As an EM you will be the direct manager of software engineers. You will work in a dynamic environment, having the chance to impact the architecture and product aspects using multiple scalable, reliable platforms with several products. We are looking for someone experienced in leading technical teams, has hands-on development experience, experienced on agile methodologies implementation and adheres self-learning.

It includes how we create product offerings out of SKUs, sellable inventory, and membership rules, at a dynamically optimized price. Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of software engineers to build, operate and support software systems in production

  • Partner with leadership, stakeholders and product management in planning, execution and management of resources, roadmap and releases

  • Recruit, mentor and grow top talents

  • Foster engineering excellence and a collaborative culture

  • Drive technical solutions to strategic initiatives

Requirements

  • At least 5 years experience in actual employment in development roles

  • 3+ years of management experience with a track record of building high performing teams

  • Proven ability to motivate people and instill ownership, reliability, teamwork, and commitment

  • Understanding of distributed systems concepts and principles (consistency and availability, liveness and safety, durability, reliability, fault-tolerance, consensus algorithms)

  • Strong system-level design, architecture and troubleshooting skills

  • Familiar with modern data technologies. Experience in stream processing or Machine Learning technologies a plus

  • Passionate about learning and applying new technologies to solve cross-team problems at scale

  • B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent experience
