About the Role

The future of work is flexibility. WeWork is at the forefront, leading to increased demand for people wanting to discover and book space online. Our mission on the Acquisition team is to make the process of discovering & buying physical and digital products intuitive, fast, and reliable.

This role will be focused on optimizing how WeWork acquires users into our various product funnels across all acquisition channels ranging from WeWork.com to WeWork Mobile App/Web to our admin experiences. We are looking for an experienced Product Manager who is passionate about building products that customers love. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams to design, build, and roll out products that deliver WeWork’s vision and strategy. In this role, you will report directly to a Product Director on the team for day-to-day mentorship and career development.

WeWork Product Managers collaborate with engineers, designers, and partners to build and ship scalable solutions. We seek energetic, passionate, ambitious problem solvers who have worked in agile environments and push the boundaries of what’s possible. We are looking for product managers who are equally adept at data thinking and design thinking, considering both analytics and research to synthesize a clear vision for the future.

Position Responsibilities

  • Lead & Drive discovery of WeWork products in partnership with Marketing & Sales to evolve the customer journey into compelling experiences that go beyond the fundamental discovery and awareness funnels, by facilitating a consumer-centric approach that will enhance engagement with WeWork’s products and services and drive revenue

  • Responsible for collaborating with PMs, engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery of product features

  • Scope and prioritize initiatives based on member and business impact

  • Develop business and product requirements documents

  • Maintain consistent feedback loops from internal stakeholders and users of the product to gather ideas for unmet needs and general feedback collection

  • Accountable for collaborating with PMs, engineers, and  designers, to break down requirements and user research into tangible pieces of work for the team

  • Ensure high productivity and predictability by practicing agile methodologies, including team Standup, Backlog Grooming, Sprint Planning, Sprint Demos, and Sprint Retrospective are driven by the teams

  • Accountable for feature-specific planning, feature roadmap development, and integration of feature vision with the  larger product vision/strategy

  • Ensure the ability to measure metrics to measure the impact of a specific feature is implemented correctly and analyze product data to derive insights to assist in the prioritization and post-release optimization of the products

  • Addresses and responds to issues raised during the rollout & maintenance of specific features and general prioritization and triage of issues for a product

  • Accountable for documenting and communicating feature updates to stakeholders, launch updates for tech, and participate in product demos

  • Create product overviews for support and community, while maintaining public and internal knowledge bases

  • Able to create and/or analyze data dashboards to make data-driven product decisions

  • Mentor and guide junior PMs across the Digital Product organization  

  • Conducts and facilitates user experience testing and research in collaboration with designers

Required Qualifications/Profile

  • 4+ years of proven working experience in product management, specifically in leading cloud-based enterprise-grade products in an agile startup environment.

  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.

  • Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management.

  • Certified Scrum Product Owner is a plus

  • Comfort or experience in a fast-paced, growing environment

  • Intellectual and professional curiosity

  • Highly analytical; experience using Excel, Amplitude, Heap, Tableau and other analytical tools

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Strong attention to detail and project management skills

Compensation & Benefits

Base Pay: $127,500 - $170,000 USD

Incentive Compensation: WeWork employees are eligible to participate in an incentive plan specific to their role. Your recruiter will detail what incentive plan is applicable to this specific role. WeWork incentive plans are subject to the terms of the applicable incentive compensation plan, which will be made available to you after commencing employment. WeWork reserves the right to amend its incentive plans, and nothing in this job requisition or any other document creates a right to a specific incentive plan payment.

Benefits: Full-time employees are eligible for comprehensive benefits (subject to the terms of applicable plans/policies/agreements, which will be made available to you after commencing employment), including 20 days of PTO, approximately 10 paid holidays, 80 hours of paid sick leave, 16 weeks paid parental leave, competitive healthcare benefits, 401K plan, Life & AD&D insurance.
