About the Opportunity

WeWork is currently seeking a Member Solutions Lead for its Building Technology team. This role will work directly with various members in client relations, engineering design development, and project management. 

As Member Solutions Lead, you will work with these members to develop standards specific to them for implementation into a variety of WeWork locations. You will collaborate with WeWork’s internal sales team, specialist technology teams (Building Technology Engineering, Network Engineering, AV and Security), and multiple internal design teams (Architecture, MEP, Interior designers, Construction) and outside consultants (Low Voltage, AORs, EORs) who will be tasked with delivery of new office space for the member.

This is a great opportunity for someone who has excellent technical and communication skills and who excels in a client facing role. Must have a proven track record of bringing together SMEs to collaborate and rapidly solve problems. Please be willing to travel as needed throughout the region in which you work.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Report to the management 

  • Oversee a variety of projects 

  • Review legal contracts and membership agreements as needed for client stipulations

  • Conduct requirements gathering sessions with enterprise level members to discuss IT, AV, and Security requirements and offer sound technology solutions

  • Support Sales and Real Estate teams in pre-sales client calls and tours

  • Create sales tools and client facing documentation outlining standard technology offerings

  • Develop technology solutions for custom requests within a typical environment. Effectively record and relay these custom requirements to execution teams globally.

  • Work with internal Building Technology design and deploy engineers, architects, MEP engineers, designers and BIM specialists as they develop schematic level handover packages to consultant design teams or design/build contractors

  • Coordinate and collaborate with team across disciplines to ensure delivery of projects, including schedule, budget, technical and installation oversight

  • Work internally with Building Technology Engineering team to specify, procure and deliver IT/AV and Security hardware as needed

  • Able to procure and manage the delivery of carrier internet fiber circuits 

  • Work with and advise team members in multiple markets

About You

  • Qualifications in Engineering or Information Technology

  • 3+ years experience working in a client facing consulting role 

  • Preferential to have experience working with Fortune 500 companies.  

  • Broad knowledge of low voltage infrastructure, systems networking, telecommunications, audio visual design and electronic security. (Exposure to all is desirable but not essential)

  • Understanding of network architecture and information security compliance

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting floor plans, technical drawings and specifications

  • Revit and AutoCAD experience a plus

  • Strong project management skills for team coordination, scheduling, budgeting, and supply-chain management

  • Ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and execute in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with a strong work ethic and ownership mentality

  • Familiar with project management software and practices
