WeWork is looking for a Paralegal, Intellectual Property to join our team. This position will report to the Director, Intellectual Property.
Responsibilities
Work with internal stakeholders and external parties in the drafting, negotiating, and processing of contracts related to marketing and brand awareness
Review marketing claims and collateral
Review claims substantiation
Draft disclosures and disclaimers
Provide marketing review and clearance on images and creative content
Assist in managing and improving IP and Marketing playbooks, forms, and processes, including creating internal educational training materials
Support cross-functional working groups on high priority legal projects
Support business stakeholders across the organization responding to inquiries with respect to marketing compliance and general IP issues
Support the implementation of processes and systems for efficient and streamlined operations regarding the IP team’s marketing review and related contract management
Maintain our IP and Marketing internal educational documents
Requirements
3-5 years of international marketing compliance and transactions experience at a law firm or in-house
In-house experience preferred
Strong project management skills, keen attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple projects
Familiarity with intellectual property issues
Knowledge of Google docs, Jira, DocuSign, Microsoft Office
Knowledge of contract/information management systems a plus
Strong organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Effective collaboration and team player
Ability to work independently
