Your role will be instrumental to the ongoing success of WeWork’s business in Australia. Reporting to the GM of ANZ, the experienced Head of Sales will be responsible for managing teams of sales leads from Inside Sales to Business Development to Enterprise Sales. You will also collaborate with other key functional stakeholders including Finance, Marketing, Product, Real Estate and Community. Your hands-on approach to team motivation, sales strategy, strategic planning and doing what’s best for the business, will be critical to your team’s success.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage revenue, sales targets, and other KPIs for the region, work closely with GM and regional counterparts

  • Define key sales and  marketing strategies for the region, budgets required to deliver, and drive successful execution to achieve results

  • Own the inbound and outbound sales strategy/process in the region: Lead qualification, prospecting, pipeline building and opportunity identification

  • Personally take the lead on larger sales opportunities in the region, successfully collaborating with your Enterprise Sales team

  • Successfully hire, train and manage the growing sales team in the region

  • Provide innovative, scalable solutions including data management and sales processes to achieve team goals (e.g. Salesforce)

  • Actively lead the optimization of the building-level sales process through information sharing, training, goal setting, management of the sales pipeline and key KPIs, in partnership with our Community Managers

  • Maintain regular communication cadence with the global/regional sales organisation to communicate best practices and share learning

  • Work towards 100% building occupancy through achieving booked tour goals and support of in-building sales

  • Work closely with the sales and revenue operations to constantly analyze results and identify opportunities to improve systems, processes and programs

  • Measurably increase the company’s brand presence in new cities, and ensure that all sales & marketing activities are “on-brand'

 

 

 

 

 

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in direct sales, sales team management, and/or marketing, ideally in B2B companies. Real Estate experience will be well regarded.

  • Adaptable to change. Experience in high-growth and/or early stage company environments is a plus

  • Experience managing teams - producing exceptional results with positive impact to team culture

  • Expert presentation, analytical, meeting management, process definition, and communication skills

  • Experience using CRM and analytic tools such as Salesforce, Tableau, SQL, Looker, Excel, etc. is highly regarded

  • A motivated and resourceful self-starter who is keen to dig into the data and understand processes

  • A champion of positive culture and clear communication - highly collaborative and great with people; will be a good listener and create relationships quickly with colleagues and partners in the business
