Who You Are: 

The Partner Account Manager will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with our strategic partners. This role involves working closely with partners and customers to drive utilization of our platform, joint sales, develop co-marketing strategies, and ensure mutual success. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SaaS, excellent relationship-building skills, and a deep understanding of the AI landscape.

How You’ll Contribute: 

  • Own a book of business: Responsible for key partner and customer book of business, with a target of growing it 20-40% Year over year. 
  • Work with customer success to retain high net revenue retention. 
  • Partner Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key partners. Act as the primary point of contact and advocate for partner needs within the company. Help identify opportunities for growth and innovation. 
  • Sales Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to identify joint sales opportunities, develop co-selling strategies, and drive revenue growth through partner channels.
  • Onboarding & Training: Lead the onboarding process for new partners, ensuring they have the necessary resources, training, and support to effectively sell and implement our AI solutions.
  • Marketing Coordination: Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute joint marketing campaigns, including webinars, events, and content marketing initiatives.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze partner performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior management and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Product Advocacy: Stay up-to-date with our AI products and solutions, providing feedback from partners to the product development team to help shape future offerings.
  • Contract Negotiation: Assist in the negotiation of partner agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and compliance with company policies.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify potential new partners and opportunities for expanding our partner ecosystem.

What We’re Looking For 

 You also have some combination of the following: 

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in partner management, account management, or business development within the SaaS industry.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field. An MBA or relevant certification is a plus.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of AI technologies and SaaS business models. Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel as required to meet with partners and attend industry events.

Compensation and Benefits 

As a startup, we strive to be externally competitive with companies at a similar size and stage, and internally fair in our pay practices. 

The starting salary for this role is $100,000 with an annual OTE of $180,000.  This represents the target offer range given the scope and experience expectations for this role

In hiring, we are generally open to a range of experiences and levels, and recognize that as a candidate you may be less experienced or more senior than this job description as posted. If that's the case, an updated salary range will be shared with you if you move forward in our hiring process.

As a WSL team member, once you are hired, the salary range for your role expands to ensure you are able to receive performance-based raises and grow in your role.
