What you'll be doing

  • Strategizing with senior and executive leaders about current and future opportunities
  • Defining Ideal Company and Customer Profiles with Sales Development Representatives (SDRs)
  • Ensuring a smooth transition during SDR-AE customer handoff
  • Managing the customer relationship from discovery through contract execution
    • Identifying key decision makers
    • Conducting additional discovery
    • Demonstrating the implication of the product specific to each individual company
    • Negotiating contract terms and conditions important to all stakeholders
  • Consistently collaborating and communicating with Customer Success and Product teams
  • Conducting post-mortem interviews with lost prospects to refine process and improve product
  • Teaching your skills and techniques to your fellow teammates (AEs, SDRs, and senior leadership)

Qualifications

  • Strong drive to improve the lives of the care teams we empower and the patients they treat
  • Creates team and mission synergy before role
  • 3+ years experience working in a customer-oriented professional with a significant percentage of time in face-to-face interactions
  • Operates with a “you first, me last” mentality
  • Confident but lifelong learner in written, verbal, and nonverbal communication skills
    • Knows how to deliver hyper-tailored messages to customers through education
    • Has adopted persistent, assertive practices, not aggressive ones
  • Willingness to conduct live, in-person meetings throughout the U.S.
  • Able to create solutions both inside and outside of the box
  • Comfortable developing personal techniques while following set processes
  • Believes a career in Sales is a noble profession, fuels positive impact, and is grounded in integrity
  • Must be able to work out of our San Francisco, CA office
  • A passion for supporting Welkin Health’s social mission

  • Prior experience in a B2B SaaS startup, and extra points if it was in health care
  • Unique perspectives on the role of Sales within a company
  • Teaching, engineering, or design background
