Reporting to The VP, Clinical Services, the Senior Clinical Operations Specialist will collaborate with central and market operations to deliver PACE excellence through reliable clinical services, scalable operational excellence and hard-wired clinical processes and workflows. This will include being responsible for conducting clinical operations initiatives ensuring standardized operational clinical excellence across markets. The Senior Clinical Operations Specialist supports in identifying, scoping, providing clarity and implementing new processes and contributes toward improving existing processes in clinical services. 


What you’ll do:

  • At the direction of Clinical Excellence leadership, implements clinical
    operations initiatives that facilitate cross-program standardization,
    accountability, and hard-wiring of simplified clinical operations processes
    and procedures.
  •  Creates materials that enhance or augment program clarity, role clarity, process
    improvement, process efficiency, and/or standardization for clinical
    operations excellence.
  • Supports change management and project improvement initiatives in clinical services;
    leads meetings and prepares presentation materials; collaborates effectively with all
    members of the clinical services and collaborating teams.
  • Support project management and collaboration across Operations, Product, Health Plan
    Services, and IT&S to improve clinical operations workflows for current participant care
    and clinical operations processes.
  •  Partners with Analytics and IT &S to build data-driven dashboards and reports for clinical
    services and drive improvement where technologies and services are under-utilized.
  •  Collaborates with Launch and Product teams to being the best clinical services practices
    to new market launches and product development.
  •  Manages and supports clinical operations tactical meetings and ensures effective
    cascade of communication and follow-up materials to market staff and leadership.
  • Supports implementation of process improvement initiatives to ensure clinical services
    readiness for enrollment and market growth.
  • Complete all required documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Protect privacy and maintain confidentiality of all company procedures and information
    about team members, participants, and families.
  •  Follow WelbeHealth policies and procedures and participate in any required Quality
    Improvement activities, staff training and meetings.
  • Communicate regularly with Supervisor and team regarding workload and priorities.
  • Timely completion of all mandated trainings and education.
  • Timely completion of all mandated occupational health screenings as needed.
  • Exercises flexibility in performing assignments as business needs evolve.


Your qualifications:

  •  Minimum of three years clinical operations, P&L, or improvement experience.
  •  Lean 6-Signma or other healthcare management certificate preferred.
  •  Ability to manage one major or multiple smaller workstreams on 3-4 initiatives with
     minimal direction.
  •  Hands-on approach with initiatives, conducting analyses and iterating on solution design,
     facilitating meetings, supporting project management, process improvement, and hard
     wiring improved, simplified clinical operations processes.
  •  Outstanding critical/analytical thinking, strong communication skills.
  •  Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  •  Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare or equivalent preferred.
  •  Demonstrated ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  •  Experience and competency working with people from diverse backgrounds and
