Hudson River Trading is looking for a temporary Product Control Analyst to join our NYC Product Control team for 6-12 months.

As a Product Control Analyst, you’ll be responsible for supporting day-to-day activities of the Product Control team related to the reconciliation of trading activity. Through this, you will develop an understanding of the monthly financial process and gain valuable insights into the wide range of functions performed by our Product Control team.

This role requires extremely close teamwork and collaboration within the Product Control team. The ideal candidate is proactive with a keen interest in Finance/Accounting/Trading.  

Responsibilities

  • Run trading reconciliations and identify/raise breaks for further action
  • Collaborate with Tech and Product Control teams to compile adjustments to trading PnL 
  • Identify variances in day over day activity and raise for further action
  • Continuously engage in process improvement efforts to streamline reports efficiently and accurately 
  • Support the daily operations of Product Control team as needed
  • Other projects that may come up during the term 

Qualifications

  • Recent grad or must be earning a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field from an accredited college or university
  • Excellent analytical skills 
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • Experience or understanding of SQL, Python, preferred 

Hourly range of $30 to $50. Pay may vary depending on job-related skills and experience.
